Both the Written Exam and the Physical Agility Test (PAT) will be offered on the same day, however, the written exam results are not available for approximately three weeks. Taking both of these tests on the same day will save you a trip later on. All applicants reporting to take written exam shall arrive promptly at 8:30 a.m. Your test results will be mailed to you once they are received. Written test results are valid for a period of two years. Your application will remain on file for a period of one year.
If you fail the Physical Agility Test, you will be allowed to retake the PAT one time within a 60 day period. If you fail the PAT on your second attempt, you will be required to wait six months to make another attempt at the PAT.

Applicants who have already taken and passed the written exam should arrive promptly at 12:00 pm to take the Physical Agility Test. This includes anyone who has already attempted the PAT previously and failed and needs to retest.
